My story

Asher's story didn't start the way we hoped it would, but he has never let that define him. He first came to the shelter as a tiny 4 week old puppy. After spending time in a loving foster home, he grew quickly, gained weight, and blossomed into a healthy, happy pup. At just 8 weeks old, Asher was adopted by a family who promised to love him forever. A year later, that promise was broken. Asher was abandoned on the side of the road, where he was picked up by animal control. He spent a month waiting at the shelter before finally making his way back to our rescue. If Asher has any hard feelings, he certainly doesn't show them. He's still the same happy, goofy boy he's always been. The fastest way to his heart? Belly rubs. The moment you give him attention, he'll happily flop onto his back and soak up every bit of love. Asher is playful, adventurous, and always ready for his next outing. Whether it's exploring on a walk, meeting new people, or making new dog friends, he's all in. He loves to play and would happily spend hours romping around with canine companions before coming inside for cuddles. Asher has all the qualities of an incredible family dog. He's affectionate, social, fun-loving, and resilient. Most of all, he's ready to find a family that truly means "forever."
