My story

Chandler is a puppy just under 3-months old puppy, and this happy, playful boy is ready to find his forever people. Mom is a Husky Shepherd mix and their dad is unknown, making these puppies a true mystery mix with a little surprise in their family tree! Friendly, active, and curious, Chandler loves exploring his surroundings and getting involved in whatever fun is happening around him. He's also a bit of a cuddler and happily soaks up affection when he's not busy being a puppy. Chandler is already making great progress with his puppy skills. He is pretty much housetrained and reliably alerts when he needs to head outside, and he sleeps beautifully from around 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. He loves chewing, especially sticks, so his family should be prepared with plenty of puppy-approved chew toys. He is also very food motivated and can eat with impressive enthusiasm, making a slow feeder a great way to encourage him to take his time. Chandler is still learning all the important puppy basics, including crate training, boundaries, and appropriate ways to express all that excitement. He can be jumpy and very vocal during play, but these are typical puppy behaviours that can be shaped with patience, redirection, and positive reinforcement. Continued obedience training would be a great way to keep his clever brain busy while building an amazing foundation for adulthood. Chandler would love a family who is ready for puppy cuddles, puppy antics, training sessions, and plenty of playtime. He's a happy, affectionate little guy who will make a wonderful companion for someone excited to help him grow into his best self. Our adoption fees cover all up to date veterinary needs, including but not limited to: full veterinary examination, age appropriate vaccinations, fecal test and parasite prevention, wellness bloodwork, spay or neuter, and microchip. All dogs will be started on a 6 week trial of pet insurance after adoption.
