My story

Hello, I’m Hawthorn!I’m a sweet boy, even though life’s been a bit rocky and trust doesn’t come easy for me. I arrived at GHS very scared, nervous, and quick to panic, but my friends here at GHS have helped me learn I don’t need to be afraid of humans anymore—I’m starting to show my social side by asking for pets and even starting to jump up to say hello to people I like! I’m more nervous around men and warm up to females much quicker. I’m looking for a family who is gentle, understanding, and patient so I can continue to build my confidence and feel safe for life.MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: Teenagers may be ok if the home is generally on the calmer side.OTHER DOGS: Yes!
