My story

Rosco. He is a fun-loving, energetic boy who absolutely loves being outside! Whether he’s running around, playing, or enjoying an adventure, he is always ready to have a good time. He’s looking for an active family who will keep up with his playful spirit and give him the time and patience he needs. Rosco would benefit from a structured home where he always has a job to do to.IN-SHELTER NOTES & IDEAL HOMESIZE:74 lbs.HOME TYPE:No shared entrancesCHILDREN:Yes - Older children with large dog experience.CATS & SMALL ANIMALS:Yes- cats potentially compatible with slow proper introduction.OTHER DOGS:NoACTIVITY/ENERGY LEVEL:High; will need a lot of daily exercise, enrichment and mental stimulation.HUMAN COMPATIBILTY:First time dog owner possible.TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/NEEDS:At least Two in-person training sessions to work on basic training, basic manners and socialization.HUMAN SOCIAL IN SHELTER:Rosco is very human social and energetic once he is comfortable.FAVOURITE THINGS:Doing anything outside especially playing and walking.For more information on any behaviours stated above, please check out our behaviour fact sheet: https://kwsphumane.ca/BehavioursandDefinitionsAt HSKWSP we do not assign our dogs or cats with a breed as we cannot guarantee the specific breed that they are.
