My story

Meet Melina! Melina is a beautiful 8-month-old Collie/Shepherd mix, approximately 50 pounds. She is looking for a forever family to adore her. She is playful, affectionate, full of puppy love, and truly remarkable in the way she brings joy to everyone she meets. She is also a very smart young dog who is eager to learn, connect, and be part of the fun. Her résumé is pretty impressive: she is great with dogs, good with cats, loves people, and is absolutely awesome with gentle children. Melina has a bright, engaging personality and a wonderful ability to make people smile. She has also mastered the highly sophisticated technique of rolling onto her back until someone provides belly rubs, proving she is both clever and completely irresistible. Melina is healthy, fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. She is ready to begin the next chapter with an adopter who understands that every rescue dog deserves time, kindness, and a stable environment to thrive. The ideal family for Melina will live in Ontario, within 3 hours of Toronto, and have tons of love to give along with plenty of time to enjoy this beautiful young dog. She would thrive with people who are excited to include her in daily life, playtime, walks, cuddles, learning, and all the little moments that make a dog feel cherished. A fenced yard would be a wonderful bonus, but most of all, Melina needs a loving home committed to giving her the happy future she deserves. Melina is available through a foster-to-adopt program, giving approved applicants the opportunity to welcome her into the home while ensuring it is the right fit for both Melina and the family.
