My story

**SPECIAL SPARKLES/AKA SUKI** DOG SELECTIVE/CAT FRIENDLY Age 8 Phoenix, AZ. So what does "dog selective" mean you ask? Sparkles may be able to live or interact with some other dogs but she is selective. This means she may do best in a home with no other dogs but she may be able to live with a specific dog. All dog introductions should be slow and closely monitored. She still gets the zoomies, jumps with joy when she knows it's walk time, and will play chase if you want to play. Her favorite things to do are go for a walk, go for a car ride, sunbathe in the back yard, and hang out and relax with her people. Here is what my foster family has to say about me: *Sparkles AKA Suki is very affectionate and protective towards her special people. *She is super smart and treat motivated. *She knows lots of commands: sit, down, stay, come and waits for an "okay before eating. *She is crate trained, and she likes sleeping in the crate at night, though she'd be happy to join you on the bed or the sofa with an invite ;) *Being a mature dog, she is house trained and will wait by the door, and can use a dog door as well. *She is very routine oriented, knowing when she gets her walks, mealtime, and treats at bedtime. *Suki can pull a bit on the leash but with the gentle leader, she is perfect. *She appears to be non dog reactive on walks. *She has been slow to warm up to visitors and can be people selective. She can be protective of her special people and the house, so greeting guests outside and coming in together has been best way to show her guests are welcome. *She likes car rides and has been well behaved at Home Depot. I am very loyal to the person caring for me, so I need someone who will give me proper guidance and structure.
