My story

Hello my name is Ricky! I am an enthusiastic boy who gets very excited and loves nothing more than leaning in, getting pets and scratches, attention, and being close to me people.I am a very strong dog and, despite my size, I don`t always realize just how big and powerful I am! I can be a bit of a bulldozer when when I get excited, so I need someone who is confident, patient, and willing to set clear boundaries and work on my manners.Once I get to know and trust you, I really want to work with you. With consistency, structure, and positive guidance, I can make wonderful progress. Underneath all that strength and excitement is a sweet, affectionate dog who just needs someone to help me learn how to channel my enthusiasm and understand my own size.I am looking for a person who will give me the guidance I need while also appreciating what a goofy but lovable character I am.My ideal home involves: Children: NoOther dogs: need some more socializing with other dogsCats: would be best as the only animal in the home first First time dog owner: Experienced dog peopleHousing environment: Could be in an apartment or a house with a fully fenced in yard.
