My story

Shadow is a sweet and playful German Shepherd with a beautiful dark coat, and mature at 6 years of age. She is gentle, but also protective of her pack. Excellent guard/alarm. Gets along well with children and other dogs. She is not well socialized with cats, seems wary of them, but would likely adapt to sharing a home with cats.Shadow is leash trained and enjoys walks several times a day and trips to the dog park. At home she likes to play with stuffed animals and rubber ball toys.Her ideal home would include multiple people, perhaps a family, and other dogs, or the opportunity to regularly socialize at a dog park, and perhaps a yard or a porch for fresh air.Her human mom is going thru age-related changes and can longer give her the level of care she needs.Shadow takes prednisone eye drops every 4th day for a genetic condition, although her vision is excellent, and also a daily allergy pill, and Hill’s dry food for sensitive stomach.
