My story

MEET APPLE! Apple is an adorable 8-month-old girl who is vaccinated, rabies vaccinated, microchipped and spayed — and now all she needs is a family to call her own! Apple is sweet, silly, cuddly and fully convinced that the world revolves around her… and after meeting her, you may agree. This girl has a wonderful balance of playtime and relaxation. She enjoys her walks, loves a good game of fetch and is always happy to roll around in the grass when the mood strikes. Once she's had her fun, though, Apple is perfectly content to settle in for a nap or some cuddles. Apple is good with dogs and kids and loves meeting new people. Cats haven't been tested yet, so slow and proper introductions would be needed. She's also great on leash, although Apple occasionally likes to stop, sit and watch people and dogs go by. Is she people-watching? Maybe. Is she making sure everyone has enough time to notice how cute she is? Absolutely. Her toy collection is serious business. Stuffies, rope toys and anything you can throw for fetch all receive the official Apple stamp of approval. Apple is working on her housetraining and sleeps happily on her dog bed beside her person. Her new family will need to continue finding a routine that keeps her comfortable and successful. And like any 8-month-old puppy, Apple is curious. If you leave something interesting within reach, she may assume you've placed it there specifically for her to investigate. Thank you for your contribution to her research. She's food motivated, which makes continued training fun and rewarding. And then there are THE EARS. Add in some hilariously questionable sleeping positions, and this girl will keep you smiling even when she's doing absolutely nothing. Apple would love a family who will include her in everyday life, enjoy some outdoor time with her, play a little fetch and — most importantly — provide plenty of cuddles. Sweet? Yep. Silly? Definitely. Cuddly? You bet. Adorable? Have you SEEN those ears?! Ready for her forever family? 100%. Apple is ready to become the apple of someone's eye… and possibly the owner of their favourite spot on the couch.
