Elphaba aka Effie

My story

This girl will literally knock your socks off with her sweet personality and wrinkles that never end...we are still not sure its a good thing but what are we going to do at this point? She was found as a stray in west texas and with the help of some amazing partners made her way to Tucson AZ.  She snorts like a little pig and will literally lick you to death. The shelter estimated her age at 7 but we are chuckling a bit at that estimate as her teeth are sparkling white. We are excited to get her seen by our vet and come up with a treatment plan. She will need entropion and guessing a brow lift to give her better vision. Her skin is in shockingly good shape but she good use to put on a few pounds. She is great with other dogs and falls into the category of an easy peasy foster. She is completely house trained.  She is fostering in Tucson but will be moving to Phoenix in September.September 15, 2026, 1:26 pm
