TEDDIEVery Friendly, Outdoorsy and CuriousBIO: - Potcake Mix , 3 yrs old, Male (neutered)- Medium (50 lb), Medium-energy- Teddie comes from Antigua where he was found as a stray and taken in by a local rescue- Teddie is house-trained, microchipped and has his core vaccinationsABOUT TEDDIE: - On a leash Teddie enjoys taking in the world around him. He is not reactive to other dogs, he does have some prey drive to small critters he sees on a walk- He loves people and will greet new friends with tail wags and hugs- Teddie is not crate trained and does not like smaller, confined spaces- He is eager to learn and is treat-motivated making him highly trainableTEDDIE`S IDEAL HOME:- He really enjoys exploring or just sitting and watching the world go by - he would love a family that will give him lots of walks and outdoor time- A quieter house with a fenced backyard and away from heavy traffic and constant urban noise which can overwhelm or startle him- Teddie would do better with older children until he learns not to jump, positive reinforcement training will help with this- Teddie has lived with other dogs in a shelter environment and may be good with another dog in the home. If his potential adopter already has a dog, we will arrange for a meet & greet. We are not recommending him for a home with a cat.Teddie a.k.a.
