This handsome boy is happy, affectionate and loves to play, especially when there are toys or other dogs around. Gonzo came from a home with several other dogs and absolutely loves canine companionship. He enjoys romping and playing with his furry friends, but he's also happy to spend time with his people and settle into the comforts of home. Gonzo is wonderful with dogs, cats, and children, and he gets along well with women. He can be a little shy and cautious around some men at first and may become somewhat protective of his person, so he'll need someone who understands that he may take a little time to warm up. His previous owner was a man, so with patience, positive experiences, and time to build trust, Gonzo can form wonderful bonds with his people. Once he's comfortable, his playful personality really shines-and he even knows how to dance and shake a paw! Gonzo is housebroken, walks well on leash, rides beautifully in the car, and is well behaved and non-destructive in the home. He especially loves car rides, so he'd make a fantastic little adventure buddy! He has never been left alone in the house, so this is something his new family will need to introduce gradually. Gonzo has medium energy and doesn't require a fenced yard or another dog to be happy, provided he receives appropriate exercise. With his love of toys, playful spirit, adorable tricks, and affectionate nature, Gonzo has so much to offer the family lucky enough to call him theirs. He's ready for a forever home where he can play, explore, snuggle, and-of course-show off his famous dance moves!
