My story

Petal is a beautiful six-year-old spayed female Saint Bernard with a sweet heart and a gentle spirit. Now in the care of Big Hearts for Big Breeds, this lovely girl is looking for a peaceful forever home where she can feel safe, comfortable, and truly cherished. Petal is good with other dogs and does well with kids, but she can become overwhelmed when there is a lot of activity happening around her. When things get too busy, she tends to shut down and needs some quiet time to regroup. Because of this, we believe she would be happiest with older children, around 12 and up, and a calmer household where she can relax and take things at her own pace. This pretty girl has a wonderful foundation of manners. Petal is potty trained, kennel trained, and leash trained. She's also been around a pool and is comfortable being part of all those everyday family activities. Petal isn't looking for a chaotic life or a packed social calendar. She's looking for a family who will appreciate her softer side, give her time when she needs it, and let her settle into her new world at her own pace. In return, she'll give you the quiet companionship and loyal love that make Saint Bernards so special.
