Buddy

My story

Buddy is an approximately 7-year-old tiny Poodle mix who came to us after a change in his family’s circumstances left them unable to continue caring for him. While he was understandably a little unsure and insecure when he first arrived, it didn’t take long for Buddy to realize he was safe and once he did, we got to see the sweetest side of this little guy come to life. As Buddy settled into the sanctuary, his personality began to shine. That quiet, uncertain little dog quickly turned into an outgoing, goofy boy who loves showing us just how much personality he has. And then came his grooming appointment... and we could hardly believe the dog we got back! It was like getting a totally different Buddy, he looked absolutely adorable with his new look! Buddy has also been busy getting healthy and ready for his next chapter. He recently had a dental, hernia repair, and neuter, and he is recovering like an absolute champ. Now, all that’s missing is the forever family he so deserves. Buddy may be a tiny guy, but he has a whole lot of love and personality to give. We are so excited to see him find a family who will give him the patience, love, and security he needs to continue blossoming.
