QUICK FACTS Name: Nangman Age: 1 year old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Jindo Terrier mix Color: Brown, Beige Weight: 9.5kg / 21lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a city pound where I had sadly been placed on the euthanasia list due to a lack of space. With limited time and an uncertain future ahead of me, I desperately needed someone to give me a second chance. Thankfully, rescuers stepped in before it was too late and brought me to safety. Those uncertain days are behind me now. I’ve been given another chance at life, and I’m ready to make the most of it. All I’m missing is a forever family who will cherish me, keep me safe, and make sure I never have to wonder where I belong again.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY My name means “romantic,” “poetic,” or “fantasy” in Korean, and just like my dreamy name suggests, I’m a bright and cheerful girl with a personality that’s easy to fall in love with! I’m incredibly friendly and have a habit of greeting everyone I meet like we’re already best friends. Even when I was rescued from the city pound, I came running out full of excitement and curiosity. I happily greeted everyone, wandered off to explore and do my own thing, then came right back to check in again. Despite everything I had been through, I never let it take away my cheerful and positive spirit. I may look a little bigger in my photos, but don’t be fooled. I’m surprisingly light, and most of what you’re seeing is my beautiful fluffy coat! I also have a big appetite and plenty of energy to match my happy personality. I would love an active family who wants a companion for outdoor adventures. Whether we’re going for long walks, exploring new places, or hitting the hiking trails together, I’ll be excited to come along and enjoy every adventure by your side.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m incredibly friendly and love meeting new people! Every time I see someone, I greet them with so much excitement and enthusiasm, as if we’re already best friends. I’m comfortable being picked up and held, and once I feel settled and comfortable, I’ll happily roll over and show you my belly for some extra belly rubs. I’m a cheerful, affectionate girl with plenty of love to share with everyone I meet. · With Dogs: I’m friendly and social with other dogs and love meeting new canine friends! I enjoy playing and can get pretty excited when I’m having fun. Sometimes my excitement gets the better of me and I may try to hump my dog friends, which not everyone appreciates, so I’m still learning my manners and boundaries. The good news is that I respond peacefully when another dog tells me they’ve had enough. Rather than arguing or escalating, I simply walk away and give them space. I generally get along best with dogs around my size who enjoy a similar level of play and energy. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate to higher energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring, and having fun, but once I’ve had my activity and excitement, I’m more than happy to come inside and relax comfortably indoors.   TRAINING & HABITS I walk nicely on leash and follow my handler’s lead well, making me an easy walking companion. I also have great manners around food and don’t guard my meals or treats from either people or other dogs. I’m a quiet girl who rarely barks, and I already know how to settle down and rest calmly in my kennel. For potty habits, I currently go both indoors using pee pads and outdoors. With a consistent routine in my forever home, I should continue adjusting nicely.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES I’m a bright, cheerful girl with a curious spirit and plenty of personality! Despite everything I went through before being rescued, I haven’t lost my cheerful spirit or my love for people. I greet everyone like an old friend and bring so much excitement into everything I do.
