My story

Meet Stix! This sweet, 6-to-7-month-old small Terrier mix is ready to find his forever family after a rough start in life. Found abandoned in an empty field, Stix has spent the last two months in a loving foster home transforming into a happy, healthy pup. Thanks to the generous care from Barb's Rescue, Stix is now fully up-to-date on his shots, neutered, and completely ready for adoption. Stix is the definition of a sweet boy—loving, deeply affectionate, and full of playful energy. He particularly loves playing with sticks, thus his name. He absolutely enjoys making new canine friends and thrives when playing with other friendly dogs. Because of his gentle nature, he can be a bit shy and intimidated around more dominant or aggressive dogs, so he would do best in a home with companions who match his friendly, easygoing vibe.
