My story

This is May, a young female (possible Schnauzer mix) with the cutest pointy ears, a little black nose, and a heart that is far too gentle for the life she’s had. May is friendly, sweet, and incredibly easygoing. She trusts people so naturally that even when she was hurt, she never fought or resisted. When her paw needed treatment, she quietly let the rescuers pick it up, clean it, and give her medication. We don't know what May experienced before being rescued, but one thing is clear — she has never lost her trust in people. That gentle nature makes her story even more heartbreaking. She shouldn't have to learn to endure pain alone. She deserves someone who notices the little things. May may be a small dog, but she has so much love to give. We hope her next home will be the place where she finally gets to learn what it feels like to be truly cared for. The gentlest dogs are the ones who deserve the gentlest homes. 🤍 May is currently in China, and available to fly to you in the coming months. Please send us an email if you are interested in learning more about May and our adoption process.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt May, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
