My story

Little Copper is an adorable young Coonhound with a beautiful reddish -golden coat, long floppy ears and plenty of classic hound charm! Rescued from Smith County Animal Shelter, this sweet boy is now ready to find the family he can call his own. Little Copper is full of puppy fun, curiosity and goofy personality. He loves playing with the other dogs in his foster home and is always ready for his next adventure. Whether he's romping around the yard, following his nose on an important hound mission, or simply hanging out with his people, Little Copper has a way of bringing smiles wherever he goes. He is house and crate trained, travels well in the car, has no issues with resource guarding and is not reactive to people or other dogs. Leash skills are still a work in progress, but he is eager to learn. Little Copper is an easygoing, happy young hound who would make a wonderful addition to a family looking for a playful, affectionate companion. He's ready to trade his shelter days for a forever home filled with love, adventures and plenty of ear scratches!
