QUICK FACTS Name: Lina Age: About 10 Months Old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Scottish Terrier Mix Color: Black and White under the chin Weight: 10kg / 22lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I spent my early puppyhood living in a raised wire cage at a dog farm, without the comfort and care a young pup needs. Thankfully, rescuers stepped in and brought me to safety, giving me the chance to experience kindness, security, and a world beyond that cage. Now, I’m ready to grow, explore, and begin a brighter new chapter with a loving forever family.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spayed & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I’m Lina! My rescuers describe me as an absolute angel—an incredibly gentle young girl who is discovering so many ordinary parts of life for the very first time. What makes my rescuers especially emotional is how remarkably sweet I am despite the beginning that I had. I absolutely love people and calmly accept handling and affection, seemingly trusting people no matter what. I’m so mild-mannered that they joke they can hardly imagine me ever figuring out how to growl. And I’m already showing that there’s a playful young dog underneath all that innocence! On my profile day, I spent time playing happily with Jumbo, giving everyone a glimpse of what I can be like when I have the freedom and confidence to simply enjoy myself. After a life with so few opportunities, playing with a friend, exploring outside, and interacting with people are all meaningful new experiences for me. I would like someone who will find joy in teaching me all the little things I never had the chance to learn—how to explore confidently, enjoy walks, settle into household routines, and discover just how much fun life can be. I’ve already shown everyone what a kind heart I have. Now I’m ready for a family who can show me everything that was waiting on the other side of that open door.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m naturally friendly and affectionate with people, and I’m happy to approach both familiar faces and new people for attention. I enjoy leaning in for affection and am comfortable being petted, even by someone I’ve just met. I’m also comfortable being gently picked up with an arm supporting me under my belly. I haven’t had experience with children under 13 yet, so my comfort level with younger kids is still unknown. · With Dogs: I’m friendly and social with other dogs, and I enjoy approaching both familiar and new dogs to say hello and invite them to play. I generally do well with dogs around my own size and tend to be easygoing in my interactions. If another dog tries to provoke me, I usually choose to move away and avoid conflict. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a high energy level – I need plenty of outdoor activity and exercise to help me burn off my energy before I’m ready to settle down and relax. I’m still working on my leash skills, and with continued practice and consistent guidance, I can become more comfortable and confident on walks.   TRAINING & HABITS I don’t guard my food around people or other dogs. When there’s something I really want, I may use a little barking to let you know. I may whine when I’m in a kennel, but with a consistent routine and continued positive kennel training, I can gradually become more comfortable settling on my own. I’m comfortable using both indoor pee pads and going potty outdoors.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself.
