QUICK FACTS Name: Sando Age: About 2 Years Old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Poodle Color: White Weight: 3.9kg / lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I came from a breeding facility, where much of my life had been centered around producing puppies rather than simply being a companion. Thankfully, I was rescued and given the opportunity to leave that life behind and experience safety, kindness, and proper care. Now, I’m looking forward to a fresh start and finding a loving forever family to share my next chapter with.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spayed & healthy with no known health issues Patellar luxation surgery scheduled   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I’m Sando! I’m a bright, affectionate little girl with adorable rabbit-like ears, soft curly fur, and an enormous love for people. If you sit down near me, there’s a good chance I’ll climb straight into your lap and burrow into your arms as if that’s exactly where I was meant to be. I’m happiest close to humans, and once I’ve chosen you, I’ll happily follow you around looking for affection. I have a wonderfully cheerful personality and am genuinely delighted to have people around me. There’s very little hesitation when it comes to showing affection—I’m the kind of dog who wants to be involved, stay close, and soak up all the love I can get. I’m affectionate, sunny, and wonderfully eager to be close to my humans. I’d love for my next chapter to be about me. I’m ready to learn how to enjoy walks, master my household routines, curl up in someone’s lap, and follow my favorite people from room to room. Give me a family to love, and I’ll be more than happy to make myself comfortable right in the middle of it.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m naturally friendly and affectionate with people, and I’m happy to approach both familiar faces and new people for attention. I enjoy leaning in for affection and am comfortable being petted—even with someone I’ve just met, I may happily roll over and show my belly! I’m also comfortable being gently picked up with an arm supporting me under my belly. I haven’t had experience with children under 13 yet, so my comfort level with younger kids is still unknown. · With Dogs: I’m friendly and social with other dogs, and I enjoy approaching both familiar and new dogs to say hello and invite them to play. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level – I enjoy spending time outdoors, but I’m also happy to settle down and relax afterward. I’m currently working on my leash skills, and with continued practice and consistent guidance, I can become more comfortable and confident on walks.   TRAINING & HABITS I don’t guard my food around people or other dogs. When there’s something I really want, I may use a little barking to let you know. I may whine when I’m in a kennel, but with a consistent routine and continued positive kennel training, I can gradually become more comfortable and learn to settle on my own.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES I show some mild repetitive behavior at times, but it should improve once I’m living in a stable home with regular human interaction and a predictable routine.
