My story

Meet Choji! Short legs, big heart, and zoomies for days! Choji is a young, handsome corgi mix with gorgeous face markings and those adorable little legs that somehow go fast. His favorite thing in the whole world is fetch, and he'll happily play until you're the one begging for a break. He's a people dog through and through: he wants to be part of the action, follows you from room to room, and at bedtime he's all about snuggling up with his humans. Choji is a medium to high-energy guy who needs daily exercise, so he'd make a great walking buddy for an active family. He does well in the car once he settles in, gets excited on leash without being a big puller, and generally gets along with other dogs. Cats and small critters are a different story. His prey drive is high, so he'll be happiest in a home without them. He hasn't met kids yet, so adults or older, dog-savvy kids would be best. Like most young pups, Choji is still a work in progress. He's figuring out the potty thing (belly bands help), he doesn't know any commands yet, and a bored Choji may chew anything you leave lying around. So keep the toy basket stocked and your earbuds out of reach! He isn't crate trained, but he does fine hanging out with other dogs while you're away. What he really needs is a patient, gentle family who'll give him space to warm up and some positive training to help him shine. His foster says it best: Choji is a really good boy, and he just needs someone to give him a chance. Give him a little love and guidance, and you'll have a fun, loyal sidekick for life.
