My story

Sandor is a 4-year-old Royal Bahamian Potcake with the sweetest, gentlest personality. He has settled beautifully into foster care and continues to gain confidence every day. This handsome boy is calm and content. He loves curling up with a chew, relaxing after a walk, and showing off his adorable "tippy taps" and happy little twirls when he's excited-especially after bathroom breaks! Sandor is house-trained, sleeps soundly through the night, and has excellent house manners. He's a low-maintenance companion who knows how to settle and relax, making him a wonderful fit for a quieter home. He walks well on leash and has made great progress with the male in his foster home. He now happily allows his foster dad to leash him up and take him for walks-a huge milestone for this sensitive boy. While he may initially bark at men inside the home, he settles quickly and continues to build confidence. Food-motivated and eager to please, Sandor responds well to positive reinforcement. He is looking for someone who will continue his training with patience, consistency, and kindness, while respecting his pace and celebrating his progress. Indoor stairs are still a challenge for Sandor, as he is afraid of them. Because of this, he would do best in a home with minimal stairs-ideally a bungalow. His adopter should be willing to gently and positively help him build confidence with new challenges. Sandor gets along well with dogs and cats, and would enjoy a calm yet confident canine companion. Overall, Sandor is an easygoing, loyal companion looking for a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. Give him consistency, kindness, positive reinforcement, and a calm environment, and you'll be rewarded with a devoted best friend whose sweet personality shines brighter every day. ?
