My story

🐾 MEET NAMU — LOOKING FOR HER FOREVER FAMILY 🏡🤎 Meet Namu, a sweet and gentle 4-year-old Jindo mix with a calm, quiet personality and a heart full of love waiting to be discovered! 🥹🤎 ✨ ABOUT NAMU 🐶 Jindo Mix 🎂 4 years old ⚖️ 35 lbs / 16 kg ♀️ Female / Spayed ⚡ Energy: Low 🎨 Color: Brown 🤎 PERSONALITY Namu is a calm, gentle, and slightly reserved girl who enjoys human affection but doesn't actively demand attention. She may be shy when meeting new people, but a little patience and some tasty jerky treats quickly win her heart! She is happiest in a peaceful environment where she can relax and feel safe. 👩 Women: Friendly, slightly shy at first, but warms up quickly. 👨 Men: May initially avoid sudden or overwhelming approaches. When given space, she becomes curious, approaches to sniff, and may even sit by their feet. 👧 Kids: Loud and overly active children can frighten her. A calm household would suit her best. 🐕 Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs and greets new friends politely. She especially enjoys playing with dogs smaller than herself. During city walks, she may growl if unfamiliar dogs suddenly approach or invade her space. 🐈 Cats: Generally indifferent. 🏡 HOME LIFE ✔️ Potty trained — indoor and outdoor, prefers outside ✔️ Crate trained ✔️ Walks well on leash ✔️ Excellent in the car — no motion sickness 🚗 ✔️ Quiet and rarely barks ✔️ No destructive behavior ✔️ Enjoys gentle affection ✔️ Low energy and calm indoors ✔️ Apartment friendly ✔️ A yard would be a bonus, but is not required ✔️ Escape precautions are important 🐕 HER IDEAL HOME Namu feels much more comfortable and confident when living with other dogs. She relies on her canine companions for reassurance and enjoys outdoor activities more when they are by her side. A home with a friendly, compatible dog — especially one smaller than herself — would be wonderful for her! She would thrive with a patient family who understands her gentle, reserved personality and allows her to build trust at her own pace. 🤎 🌱 RESCUE STORY Namu was rescued from a restaurant where she had been neglected and forced to live surrounded by piles of garbage. Despite her difficult past, she remains a gentle and loving girl who is slowly learning that the world can be a safe and beautiful place. Now, Namu deserves a peaceful home, a loving family, and the happiness she has been waiting for. 🥹🤎 🏡 Could you be Namu’s forever family?

If you have any questions or would like to adopt NAMU, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
