My story

Hey there, I’m Hera!WHAT YOU’LL LOVE ABOUT ME…- I’m a big snuggle bug who loves to jump up and give kisses- I love to play with toys and eat treats, which makes training fun and easy- I enjoy splashing in puddlesMY NEW FAMILY SHOULD…- Be prepared for a strong girl who pulls on leash (front-clip harness works well)- Understand I can be nervous sometimes, like when meeting men or visiting a new place- Recognize and respect my subtle signs of stress (lip licking, lowering head or tail, turning away)- Be prepared to tell me how good I am all the time to build my confidence!MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: Teenagers should be fine, no young children given I can be sensitive.OTHER DOGS: Yes, I would enjoy a playful dog.CATS: No, given my Labrador excitability.FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: Potentially, if you have some large dog experience.FENCED-IN YARD: I love to run with zoomies so a yard would be preferred.HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: No apartment buildings given I can sometimes get startled by things.SOMEONE HOME MOST OF THE DAY: Not necessarily.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME…ACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium-high. HOUSE-TRAINED: Yes but expect some accidents as I adjust to a new routine. If you think I could be a good match for your home, click the “Adopt Me” button to apply!
