My story

DOB: Aug 21, 2025 Mindy is a delightful mix of a brave explorer and a sweet companion. Full of youthful curiosity, she loves to investigate every nook and cranny of the house. Her daily schedule consists of playing, embarking on mini-adventures, and taking long, deeply satisfying naps. She is very affectionate and loves being around people, but she balances it with a polite streak of independence—she will happily come to you for chin scratches and cuddles on her own terms. She has an adorable quirk she shares with her older foster brother: when she hops up to settle down, she will grab a piece of the blanket in her mouth, squint her eyes shut as tight as possible, and purr up a storm while kneading away. Mindy and her older foster brother were rescued after being found abandoned together inside a single crate. Despite that scary ordeal at such a young age, she has bounced back completely and refuses to let her past dull her bright, adventurous spirit. Her foster family notes that having her crate-mate around has likely given her a lot of comfort, and they get along wonderfully while respecting each other's space. If adopted separately from her bestie Mork, she’d probably be a good fit for a home with another friendly cat. She previously had a UTI that was fully treated with antibiotics and shows no current signs of issues. Her foster family has been using 99% dust-free, fragrance-free litter to keep the area comfortable for her.
