Boa

My story

Boa is:~2½ years oldneuteredvaccinatedhouse-traineddoesn’t need a crateis great in the carincredibly affectionate and people-oriented, completed a 6-week beginner training course where he was the star of his class. He’s smart, goofy, loyal, eager to please, and really just wants to be part of someone’s life. His one absolute non-negotiable is NO CATS. He has a prey drive toward them which is the only reason we cannot keep him ourselves. Our cats have been confined to one room for months while we’ve tried everything possible to find Boa the right home and it’s beginning to negatively impact their health. We simply can’t continue asking them to live this way.Boa was rescued earlier this year after wandering onto a property in Southern Baja starving, injured, and covered in infected wounds. He has come so unbelievably far. I desperately don’t want his incredible story to lead him to being surrendered to a shelter.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Boa, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
