QUICK FACTS Name: Chupa Age: 4 years old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Mini Poodle Color: White Weight:  2kg / 4.4lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a Poodle puppy mill, where life wasn't the loving, comfortable experience every dog deserves. Thankfully, I was given a second chance and brought to safety, where I can finally receive the care and attention I need. Now I'm ready to leave my past behind and begin a happier chapter! I'm hoping to find a loving forever family who will cherish me, help me experience all the wonderful things life has to offer, and show me what it truly means to be part of a family.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I'm a teeny tiny girl with a big love for people! I absolutely adore attention and will happily follow everyone around, hoping for some pets, affection, or a tasty treat. Treats are definitely one of my favourite things! I can be a little shy when meeting someone new, but don't worry, I warm up in no time! Once I'm comfortable, my sweet and affectionate personality really shines through. I'm also an incredibly quiet little girl who rarely makes a peep. And because I'm so tiny, finding a collar or harness that fits me properly can be a bit of a challenge! My future family may need to look for something extra small to keep me comfortable and secure. Another wonderful thing about me? I'm very well-behaved during baths! I handle bath time like a little champ, making it easier to keep me looking and feeling my best. I may be tiny, but I have so much love to give, and I can't wait to share it with my forever family!   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I may be a teeny bit shy when we first meet, but I warm up super quickly! Once I feel comfortable, I'll happily follow you around, hoping for some pets, attention, and maybe a tasty treat or two! I'm a sweet, affectionate little girl who enjoys being close to people. I also don't mind being picked up and held, so you can scoop me up for some extra cuddle time. With a little love and attention, it won't take long for us to become best friends! · With Dogs: I'm friendly with other dogs and enjoy saying hello to new doggy friends! After a little greeting, though, I'm usually happy to wander off and do my own thing. I'm a gentle, easygoing girl who prefers peaceful company over rough play. I'm also a little peacekeeper who doesn't like conflict or drama. I'd much rather avoid any disagreements and enjoy my surroundings in peace. I'm perfectly happy sharing my space with other dogs while maintaining a little independence! · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring, and having fun, but once I’ve had my activity and excitement, I’m more than happy to come inside and relax comfortably indoors.   TRAINING & HABITS I'm still learning my leash manners, but I'm making steady progress with every walk! With a little patience and practice, I'm sure I'll continue to improve. I'm a well-mannered little girl when it comes to mealtime and don't show any food guarding behaviours around people or other dogs. I currently don't show signs of separation anxiety, although I may become more attached as I develop a strong bond with my forever family. I'm also a very quiet girl who rarely barks and knows how to settle down and rest calmly in my kennel. As for potty habits, I'm comfortable going both outdoors and indoors on pee pads. I'm still learning about life outside the puppy mill, but I'm making progress and look forward to learning even more with my future family!   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES Having spent much of my life in a puppy mill, staff and volunteers believe I've given birth to many litters of puppies over the years. I've spent so much time being a mama, and now I'm hoping it's finally my turn to be loved and cared for! When I was rescued, my fur was severely matted and had to be shaved for my comfort. But don't worry, once my beautiful coat grows back, I'm sure my full beauty will shine through! I'm already an adorable little girl, and I can't wait for my transformation. Despite my difficult past, I have so much love to give! I absolutely adore people and crave the affection and attention I may have missed out on for so long. More than anything, I want a family who will cherish me and make me feel special. I've spent enough time caring for others. Now I'm ready for a new chapter where I can simply be someone's beloved little companion.
