I sent this letter to Lenawee Humane Society. It is about a very special dog, who never thought he was one! To the wonderful people of Lenawee Humane Society

I never had a cat but decided to adopt an older cat. As I sat in the room with a 12 yr old cat, another cat who was so active caught my eye. I than thought no, he would be too much.

I'd lost my buddy suddenly and wasn't ready for a new companion and then stumbled upon Bear's picture. Look at the crazy in those eyes. I adopted this little nut with the help of the Almost Home Foundation & PetSmart.

Sweetie was very unsure of her new surroundings at first. It took her 8 months before she climbed on my lap without coaxing. She had been through a lot apparently. Now she has a set routine and shes happy.

My beloved fur baby Bettie passed a year ago. I got to spent 12 amazing years with her. I didn’t want to bring another pet into my life. It was just too hard and I didn’t want to replace her. I was asked to dog sit for a weekend and agreed.

My husband and I adopted our baby 2 weeks ago. We love having him with us to spoil and have fun with him. He fit right in from minute one. His original name was Mash , but he seems to love Milo, so Milo it is!

We had just put our white shepherd down after 14 1/2 yrs and started looking almost immediately for another dog for my husband’s companion and our husky mix too.

 

This is our adorable Ellie! We changed her name! We adopted and rescued this little bundle of joy from an owner who didn’t give her care and love! She had warms and flees and was starved!
