My story

Willy is one super cat and a very lucky cat. He is not a true bobcat by breed. He got his short black tail because a coyote attacked him but he escaped with a broken tail that had to be amputated. This love bug was considered feral and caught in a trap on the grounds of the Orange County courthouse by a cat loving person who wanted to help him and saw he was injured. It was obvious as soon as he got to the vet and was headbutting the vets hand this was no feral kitty but one that needed a home after he got well. He also had mange and was limping so needed a few weeks to recuperate. The vet estimates his age as between 2 to 4 years old. Now he is all better and has turned into one amazing cat! Willy LOVES being with you and loves hugs. He is a total joy to have around, obviously happy to be indoors again. Willy is excellent around other cats and kittens so would be a wonderful addition to your home. I would say he would be happiest with a buddy but could be a single if you don't work long hours away from home. He uses the scratching post & cat tree and uses litter box. Willy is neutered, microchipped for ID, negative for FeLV, current on shots, dewormed and flea free. For more information please e-mail foster at phyllis891@att.net. Thank you! He may be at our next bi-monthly Saturday adoption event (but best to confirm) from noon to 4:00pm at Petco, 32391 Camino Capistrano, San Juan Capistrano, off Fwy 5, exit #81. Please visit our website at www.southerncountiesrescue.org for our adoption schedule and an application.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Willy, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
