Daisy

My story

Sweet Daisy lost her home when her previous owners could no longer care for her. She is about 8 years old and weighs 26 pounds. Daisy has a nice amount of energy and has a bounce in her step on walks. She is very friendly, appears to be house broken and just generally a very sweet girl and loving girl. Daisy was not in good condition when we rescued her and she needed to be completely shaved down. There is a picture included that shows Daisy before grooming. Upon her full veterinary exam it was discovered that Daisy has Cushing's, a condition caused by excessive production of the hormone cortisol. With proper management, including lifelong medication and follow-up care, Daisy can live a relatively normal life.  If you can offer this precious deserving girl a home please complete the adoption application on our website, www.greatpets.org. Daisy's $200 adoption donation includes her vet exam, spay surgery, vaccinations, blood work, dental cleaning, flea control and microchip.
