Maisie

My story

DOB February 18, 2018. Maisie is a very active and playful cat. She loves all kinds of toys… and non-toys too, she is very curious and likes to play with any small object she can find. Maisie is very gentle, she has never hissed or been aggressive but she does give love bites when she gets excited. She is not that comfortable with new people at first, she gets scared and hides. However, she warmed up to her foster family within a few hours of arriving, so it shouldn’t take her too long to warm up to her new family. Maisie loves to hang out with you and cuddle while you are watching TV or reading. She is a very affectionate cat who purrs non-stop and always wants to play. She loves attention and will give you tons of kisses to encourage you to play with her. When Maisie first came to her foster home, she had some episodes during which she had breathing difficulties. There was another foster cat in the house and Maisie was constantly trying to play with him, however he would get overly excited and could be a bit aggressive which resulted in Maisie having those episodes (breathing difficulties). Her symptoms resolved when the other foster cat went to another house and she received some medication, and she hasn’t experienced them again. However, her new family must be aware that Maisie could be more susceptible to chronic airway or respiratory diseases. Even though she does seem to get along with other cats Maisie would have to be with a very gentle cat that won’t stress her out. Otherwise she would do better in a single cat home. Maisie is a super sweet, super playful cat, who will give you tons of love. Come meet her today!
