My story

My name is Cleo, but my friends call me Sue Ellen (really just my foster parents think I look more like a Sue). I am grown, so I use the doggy door when I need to, I don’t freak out & embarrass you when there’s company, and I love to binge watch my shows on my bed. If you’re looking for a guard dog, I'm not it; but if you want a nap queen and a gorgeous face to greet you when you come home, I’m your gal. Cleo came to us with her "sister" Cricket, also a Basset hound, their elderly owner had passed away. You would not be able to meet a sweeter pair of dogs. Both dogs have excellent house manners. Are great with kids and just love everyone. The do use a doggy door and ride well in the car. Both dogs have been thoroughly checked out by out vet. We do run blood work to make sure we are not missing anything.This pair is truly bonded and we do not want to separate them. This is a very laid back pair of dogs... hound.. typical lazy hounds. The adoption fee for the pair is $500. Cricket will have a dental before she leaves our care. If you are interested in meeting this lovely pair.
