Winnie

My story

Winnie has lost her forever home to Alzheimer's. She lived with a dog and several caregivers. She was much-loved by all of them, but remaining family are allergic so she needs a new home. Winnie has not had much exercise, so she is a bit pudgy. We have changed to a high-protein diet, which experience has shown, with time, reduces weight. Exercise helps, too. She was just seen by a veterinarian who says her gums look good and teeth are sound, but the back molars should probably be cleaned within the year. Otherwise, she is healthy; and her distemper combination vaccination is current. Winnie is micro-chipped. What a character! She sits up and begs! Also, follows me around the house.
