My story

Her name is Chloe but we call her Princess. A stunning little twelve pound female Shih Tzu, with a soft non-shedding high maintenance cream and tan coat. Her birthday is 03/18/2012. Chloe arrived at the Safehouse on 08/19/2019. She came to us from a loving mom who found herself caught up in unfortunate life challenging circumstances; sometimes love means knowing when letting go is the right decision for all concerned. Chloe misses the comfort and security of her family so she will need lots of soothing hugs and loving reassurances from her new forever parents. Gentle, shy and easily startled, a quiet but active adult home will be the best placement for this charming little Shih Tzu. Several years ago Chloe had surgery to remove bladder stones; now a normal healthy dog, she requires a veterinary Rx diet that lowers the potential for development of future urinary issues. Chloe is house trained but will need time and patience adjusting to your household rules and daily routine. A friendly, playful, tail wagging bundle of fun; she wants to please, enjoys the company of people, gets along with other small dogs (we have no history regarding cats) and has a low tolerance for young children. If you are looking for a darling little Shih Tzu to warm your lap and your heart; if you have time for lots and lots of hugs and playtime; if your arms ache to hold a precious bundle of love; then Chloe is the answer to your search!! Chloe is healthy, spayed, microchipped, current on all vaccines, heartworm and flea/tick preventative; she has had a complete physical and dental. Her adoption fee is $350.
