Please note, we ALL of our dogs currently reside in foster homes in TX. We transport our pups once they have been adopted. All of our dogs reside in foster homes, so much is known about their temperament, training level and personality. We are happy to provide references from previous adopters if needed. Thank you for wanting to adopt! Please also note that the last puppy litter we posted brought in close to 120 applications in 48 hours. We are a SMALL rescue, and literally cant keep up. PLEASE be patient with us. Our application can be found at haydudeequine.org These puppies are not going to be good apartment dogs. PLEASE research the Great Pyreenes breed before submitting an application. They are incredible dogs, but can be aloof, vocal, protective, and we call their ears non listening devices. We know the puppies are cute, but this breed is not for everyone. "Papa was a Rolling Stone.......", or, wait, was it my namesake that was the Rolling Stone? I guess maybe a little of both :) I am a little boy, 10 week old Golden Cocker Retreiver/Great Pyrenees mix. I am a "hybrid", or "Crossbreed" of two of the most popular dog breeds!! According to Google;"The best way to determine the temperament of a cross breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed." Fortunately, both sides of my ancestry, the Golden Cocker Retrievers (my sweet Mama) and the Great Pyrenees (Papa), are among the most loyal dogs; this is one of the major reasons for their long standing popularity. They are also intelligent and keen to please. I am outgoing, friendly, and meet everyone with a happy tail wag!! My temperament is mellow and laid back, but I also enjoy my daily hikes. I love to spend time with hoomans, either out for a hike or snuggled on the couch. I currently weigh 12 pounds, but will most likely end up a medium large size dog between 55-70 pounds....Just the right size for action adventure hikes and snuggling on the couch!! My soft white coat has natural gold highlights and is currently medium length and very pettable! FAVORITE THING Easy peasy on this one.. I LOVE to wag my tail!! I wag it as fast as I can for as long as I can..but, sometimes, I have to sleep!! Otherwise, in every photo, my tail is just a blur!! I am just so happy all of the time, I have to express myself!! I am a smart, gregarious, and loyal little guy!! LEAST FAVORITE THING I would have to say sleeping because I can't wag my tail when I sleep!! Since I was 2 weeks old, I have been a fervent tail wagger. My foster family would laugh and laugh because I was so tiny, and yet my tail was always in motion!! GOALS FOR LIFE To make others feel as happy as I do!! By nature, I am very outgoing and joyful. I need a furever family that will appreciate and love that uniqueness. According to a song by the artist whose moniker I share, "You can't always get What You Want..", but in this instance, you can definitely get the most awesome puppy that you could ever want....me!!
