Marley

My story

Animal Profile: Marley is an almost 4-year-old neutered male 60lb mixed breed (DNA test showed German Shorthaired Pointer, Lab, Pitbull). He came to us as a puppy and was adopted but returned several years later due to anxiety around the young toddler in the home. Marley is friendly with other dogs, has lived without issues with cats, and is a loyal companion to his people. He is discerning with new people but not reactive. He is nervous with small children who don't respect his space. He is house-trained, crate-trained and has good basic obedience training. We will share more as we get to know him in foster care.  Adopter Profile: Other dogs OK (not required) Cats OK Dog-savvy older kids considered Fenced yard preferred Large breed experience  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.  Apply online at www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: This dog was rescued from Texas as a puppy and adopted after a short stint in foster care. He was returned several years later due to failure to acclimate to the toddler boy in the home.
