My story

Hi! We're Jax & Judy! We're approx. 6 years old and very sweet and gentle. We prefer to be adopted together as we are a bonded pair. We are both spayed/neutered, and vetted. We will do best in a calm home that will provide us with lots of love and that will be a *forever* home. Our lives started out pretty tough. When we were rescued (and we can't tell you how grateful we are to have been rescued!) we had been trying our best to survive in a severe neglect and abuse home situation. We were emotionally traumatized when we were rescued and it took us a while to learn to trust humans again, after all we had endured prior to our rescue. But once we warmed up and knew we had been rescued by kind, loving, compassionate people, we relaxed and began to thrive in every way. We both love to sit on laps and love to play with our kitty toys and also love to lounge on our cat climber(s) by the window(s) and look outside. We are both super sweet, calm, and gentle. We will need an adopter who has a calm home and who will be patient with us - as it will take us both some time to warm up to our forever home. But once we have that time to transition and we know we are safe/loved/cared for, you will see how incredibly sweet we both are and how devoted we will be to you! We really have SO MUCH LOVE to share! We prefer to be adopted together as we both feel more comfortable and confident being in a home together. We hope we won't be overlooked for adoption because we're a bonded pair, or because we're adult cats (as most adopters choose to adopt kittens), or because we had a difficult past (we have *so much* love to share!).
