Meet Riddle: A Gentle Soul with a Heart of Gold Riddle is a sweet, soulful dog who deserves a second chance at a loving home. Rescued from Memphis Animal Shelter just in time, Riddle was initially misunderstood due to his scars, with shelter staff fearing he had been involved in dog fighting. But after a temperament test, it was clear that Riddle is a gentle, shy boy who prefers to keep to himself and avoid conflict. Now between 7 and 8 years old, Riddle has undergone heartworm treatment and is in good health, ready for a quiet, loving home. He’s a total sweetheart who would love nothing more than to be a lap dog. His favorite spot is the loveseat, where he sneaks a few moments of relaxation before heading to his kennel. Though shy at first when meeting new people, Riddle quickly warms up and becomes your loyal best friend. Quiet and well-behaved, Riddle spends most of his day peacefully in his kennel, only getting excited when it’s time for his meals. With his soulful eyes and gentle demeanor, he’s a dog that will melt your heart.
