Ahnu

My story

This handsome boy is Ahnu.  Ahnu is a super sweet boy who has become a staff favorite here at the shelter.  Ahnu was a bit nervous when he first arrived but after taking some time to settle in he has become great friends with everyone he meets!  Ahnu does not show his best self here and can still be sensitive when meeting new people here at the shelter. He does best when going out for walks and getting out of the building.  He has been going out on sleepovers with a longtime volunteer who reports that he is a perfect little couch potato when they get home!  Ahnu loves riding in the car and has made a great camping buddy!  He is not interested in going on long hikes and much prefers snuggling on the couch. Ahnu has been accompanying our volunteer to baseball games at the park and shopping at stores around town.  The volunteer reports that Ahnu is very social with people out in the world and has even met a few dogs he might like to play with.Ahnu does have a history of being able to coexist with dogs but can be selective when making new friends.
