My story

Our buddy Spyro has had quite the interesting life. He was bottle fed as a puppy and also recently had an intensive cleft palate surgery (thank you again to our community for helping us raise the funds in less than 24 hrs!).Spyro is looking for a special adopter who finds this quirky fella as endearing as we do. Some of this 3-year-old pups` quirks include:- Startles easily when waking up - Loves hard boiled eggs - Loves water/chasing the hose Spyro has had dog friends that he lived with in the past, but has been having a tougher time making new friends here. We think he could succeed with the right dog, and we are happy to help facilitate a dog try. Spyro has also done well with children in the past, but since he can be bouncy and startle easily we are recommending older kiddos. Spyro warms up quickly to new people and is exuberant about life — especially after this big surgery will allow him to eat more snacks!Come meet Spyro at the shelter Wed-Sun from 1-6pm — he is truly one of a kind!
