My story

Meet Bruce — a loyal, goofy, and affectionate boy who just needs the right person to help him shine. With the people he loves, Bruce is all about snuggles, cheese, and playtime—fetch, tug, and a good game of chase are his absolute favorites. He’s also super smart and loves puzzles that challenge his brain!Bruce is looking for a very special, patient home. He does not like strangers or other dogs, so he must be the only pet in an adult-only home. He needs someone who will take the time to earn his trust—and once you do, you`ll have a loyal shadow who insists on cuddles and attention.He gets sad when left alone, so his ideal person works from home or has a flexible schedule to visit him during the day. Recently, Bruce has shown signs of progress after shutting down emotionally for several weeks. He’s begun reconnecting with his human friends—even hopping into a trusted staff member’s lap again.Bruce is a work in progress, but with the right match, he’ll thrive. If you`re experienced, patient, and looking for a deep bond with a dog who just needs a chance, Bruce might be your perfect companion.My adoption fee of $50 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday, Friday and Saturday are walk in from 10-5.
