My story

Zai desperately needs a home! For months, Zai got to bask in the sunlight coming through the windows of his temporary home. He got to nap on the couch and get attention whenever he wanted. This loving, clean home environment instantly improved his overall health because Zai is diabetic. Unfortunately, Zai is now back at Abandoned Pet Rescue because his foster family is moving out of state. Zai's needs are simple... his insulin is checked morning and evening plus daily eye drops and a prescription diet (his food intake does need to be monitored). APR provides all his supplies and medical care for life. Zai is a gentle, affectionate 11 year-old cat that deserves to spend his golden years napping by a warm window and watching the birds fly by. He loves playing with his wand and catnip toys so he still has some kitten energy left in him.
