Cooper

My story

We rescued Cooper when he was 1 year old. He is a sweet dog who loves to go on walks and snuggle. He is very chill and will sleep most of the day. Now that we have small children, he has become very anxious around them, that’s why we’re hoping to find the perfect family to help him live his best life. We’re hoping he and his dog brother (different breed) can be adopted to a loving family together. Where they can go on walks, run around a yard and snuggle and sleep all day. Cooper also doesn’t love strangers coming into his home and trying to pet him. He’d do better in a quiet home. If a stranger tries to pet him he will bark his head off at them. Once he knows you he’s good but it’s best for new people to leave him alone and let him come to them once he’s comfortable. If he gulps down water quickly (after being outside) he’ll throw it up right away. To prevent this we just keep his water bowl outside.
