✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Los Angeles💟 Meet Gowoon🧡 1. Health Status • Spayed • Others: Microchipped, Fully treated for heartworm 2. Rescue Story • At the end of 2021, Gowoon gave birth to seven puppies at Gimje Shelter. She and her puppies were rescued together. All of her puppies have since gone to foster or adoptive homes, but Gowoon has remained at the shelter, waiting for a family of her own through many years of shelter life. 3. Personality & Characteristics • With People: – Still not very used to human touch. – If approached gently with slow contact, she can accept petting. – Sudden or rough movements may scare her, and she may respond with defensive nipping. – Needs someone patient who can match her pace and let her build trust slowly. • With Dogs: – Gets along well with calm dogs with similar temperaments. – Likes friends who approach her quietly and gently. • Separation Anxiety: – Enjoys her alone time. – Interestingly, she becomes more active when she’s by herself. • Potty Training: – Currently at the shelter, she only does outdoor potty. • Grooming & Hygiene: – Not yet comfortable with human handling, so baths and brushing are still on hold. • Walks: – Has no walking experience yet. – She gets scared when someone approaches with a leash, so she refuses it for now. • Car Rides: – Calm in the car, sits quietly without motion sickness. • Barking: – Barks when hearing loud noises outside. – Also barks if she is outside alone and sees people moving around inside the shelter when they are out of her sight. • Mouthing/Nipping: – Very occasionally shows defensive nipping due to fear, but this has been decreasing over time. • Dislikes: – Afraid of loud noises and people who move too quickly. – It’s best to move slowly and calmly around her so she can feel safe.
