My story

DISCLOSURE: The adoptable pets in our program are still in the care and custody of owners who wish to re-home their pet. Owners have enlisted Rescue Well to provide marketing and screening of applicants as a service, free of charge. All fees and adoption conditions are determined by the owner. We advise that adopters do not send payment or deposits for pets prior to adopting.  ***** Butterfly is of unknown breed, although domestic short hair was cited; he's 13yo, weighs 8lbs, is neutered, is not up to date on his vaccines, is not microchipped, and his FeLV/FIV status is unknonw, so he'll need testing. Butterfly's guardian explains why he has made the difficult decision to rehome him:  "Moving.  Need to rehome." Butterfly's guardian offers a brief medical history:  "Front paws are declawed." Butterfly's guardian states the following regarding children:  Butterfly hasn't lived with children, but his guardian recommends his living with children. Butterfly's guardian states the following regarding dogs and cats:  Butterfly hasn't lived with dogs or cats, so his guardian doesn't recommend his living with dogs or cats, stating "Very independent and protective; would not recommend living with cats or other animals." Butterfly's guardian describes him as: Couch potato Playful Friendly Shy Likes to be touched Affectionate Independent Butterfly's guardian describes his ideal future home:  "Any home that has no other pets and someone who loves cats."
