Ernie

My story

It`s kind of scary to make new friends when you`re a shy guy like me, but I sure try! I`m Ernie, a cute as can be, 7-year-old Chihuahua mix. I`m here at Animal Ark because, unfortunately, my owner became ill and couldn`t continue my care. I am used to living in a home with just the 2 of us, so I would do best as the only pet in my new home, without children. Once I get to know you, I want to be your lap companion and get all the attention you can give. I`m very smart and know lots of commands, plus I`m crate trained and housebroken. I will need some time to adjust to new surroundings so I`m looking for a patient owner who will work with me on getting comfortable.
