My story

Arlo is a darling 3 year old, 16 pound yorkie mix. He has lived with other dogs, cats, and kids of all ages. Arlo loves people more than toys and would love to be the center of your attention. Your eyes are not playing tricks on you -- Arlo has 3 legs. But it doesn't slow him down a bit. He'd love nothing more than to be your constant companion. Arlo does bark and needs a potty training refresher - he had some setbacks after his amputation surgery - so apartment living is not his top choice. If you are looking for a sweet, loving best friend, get in touch with us about ARLO! Most of our dogs are currently in shelter - but adoptions/meet and greets are by appointment only. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! Our adoption fees include the following: all of our dogs/puppies are current on vaccinations (DHPP and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, heartworm tested and current on preventative, microchipped, treated for fleas/ticks and are spayed or neutered. Our large dog adoption fee is generally $175 + tax. Our small dog and puppy adoption fee is generally $275+ tax. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Due to space limitations, we do not hold dogs. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all dogs leaving the shelter be in a carrier or on leash. All pets remain up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee paid.
