My story

Stormy has had some cloudy days and deserves to be in a home where she'll be spoiled!Stormy came to our shelter after being found outside, very pregnant. Heartbreakingly, the single baby that she had passed away. She also had a fractured pelvis from giving birth and needed medication while she healed. In the beginning, Stormy was pretty scared and a little cranky, but who could blame her! She is all better now and loves walking around our cat room, jumps up and loves to explore. She will occasionally allow/enjoy being pet but it must be on her own terms. One of our staff members has formed a bond with her and she will allow pets quite frequently, but it took some time for Stormy to allow this. She does not like being picked up, but she will offer her head for skritches and meow her adorable little kitten meow (even though she is almost 3 years old). We are hoping that a patient adopter is out there, willing to give Stormy a chance. Stormy has gained some confidence now that she's out and about in one of our cat rooms! She loves exploring the room and gets along absolutely fine with our other cats. We are still working on winning her over and once again, a patient owner is crucial for Stormy. This girl can be a bit sassy if you rush her, so Stormy's ideal home would be in an adult only household. Stormy is a young adult who is: spayed, UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and she is FIV/FELV NEGATIVE.
