My story

Hi there, they call me Whiskey and I`m a 60 pound 5 year old babe with ears for days! As you can see, my ears stand straight up when I`m alert. They will lay flat if I`m nervous or relaxed, which gives me many different `looks` so you`ll never tire of my cute face! I can be a little skittish around new people and new places so, please be patient and gentle when we first meet. Once we`re besties, I love neck scratches and, if you do it right, I`ll probably flop over some belly rubs! I like to play with toys too and make silly noises sometimes. I got adopted a while back, but my person had to move to a smaller space and there wouldn`t be room for me. Kind of a bummer, I know. With my person, I got to go on walks every day, lounge on the couch or bed, and play with my favourite squeaker duck! There was a cat there too, and I did ok, but if you have a cat at your place, our staff will suggest a good way to be sure we can co-exist peacefully. I can be strong on the leash, so if you`re looking for an upper body workout, I`m your gal! I`m super smart and know a lot already. You`ll just have to spend some time with me to learn what I know!
