My story

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟 Meet Milo💗 💙 Updates Account: @foster_zip 1️⃣ Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped, and fully recovered from heartworm. 2️⃣ Rescue Story * Milo was rescued from the Gimje City Shelter. While at the shelter, he always had a sad expression and would sit quietly in a corner. It was clear that he was scared — whenever someone approached, he would quickly retreat and hide. To prevent his fear and stress from worsening, we rescued him in time. 3️⃣ Basic Information * With People: Is shy around strangers and feels uncomfortable with sudden touches — he may yawn or lick his lips when uneasy, so it's important to approach him slowly. However, once he becomes familiar with someone, he allows cuddles, kisses, and belly rubs, and even enjoys being held. When he’s feeling affectionate, he gently boops with his nose and gazes lovingly at you. Is in the process of building trust with humans and appreciates those who give him time and space. * With Dogs: Iniitiates play by signaling to other dogs and enjoys games like tag. Is tolerant and easygoing around other dogs, especially at our center and dog school, although overly energetic dogs can still overwhelm him a bit. * Separation Anxiety: Shows no signs of separation anxiety. * Potty Training: 100% indoor potty trained on pee pads! Never goes on a pad that’s already been used — he’ll wait for a clean one. Is also familiar with using artificial grass mats indoors. * Hygiene: Enjoys being brushed and will even lie down comfortably during grooming when in a good mood. Tolerates nail trims well when held gently. * Walks: Is still a bit afraid of the outdoors, so he’s currently being trained to walk indoors. Is gradually expanding his comfort zone and follows along nicely. Wears a double leash for safety and is very cooperative with wearing it. * Car Sickness: No motion sickness. Stays calm and quiet in his kennel during travel. * No biting behavior. * Rarely barks. If he wants water or needs to potty and someone is blocking the way, he might let out a tiny whine. * Enjoys relaxing alone in his kennel. Is a true treat lover — boiled chicken breast and duck jerky are his favorites! * Sudden movements or unexpected touches can startle him. Is also a bit uncomfortable when he feels a leash being pulled, but he still manages to follow along calmly.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Milo, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
